screamfest.

this week we got together for dinner with a couple of other dear families.  all three babies were actually awake at the same time!  i smell t-r-o-u-b-l-e... ;)

rock on.

this shot was captured only a few days before kj rolled over for the first time!  she can now officially escape tummytime if she so desires...

this is the latest method we have discovered for determining whether kj is hungry... upon pressing her cheek to yours, does she attempt to EAT YOUR FACE?!?  if so, then please promptly feed that girl! ;)

reading.

kj loves to read!  she is so attentive, just looking and looking at every page as we read, and of course kicking her legs as much as possible when there is an especially exciting part of the story.  her favorite books change from day to day, but always include some eric carle, some dr. seuss, and some bible stories.  no matter who's the narrator, this girl's always game for a good read!

this horton book is the very one that her daddy used to read everyday when he was little.  it's still seared into his memory & to this day he can recite it from start to finish.  incredible!
