i am terribly excited that we are building a community garden this spring! together with two other families on our block, we're taking advantage of a sunny spot on our dead end street & transforming it into a hopeful harvest project. first step: remove old construction fill soil. step 2: import 12" of rich, dark, life-giving soil. step 3: erect 6'ht fence to keep all but vegetative life out. step 4: plant, water, & watch. step 5: eat. here we go!!
